Founded in Arusha, Tanzania, in 2016 — not in a European travel agency or an online booking platform. Nelson Laizer, our founder, is from this land. He grew up in the shadow of the parks he now shows guests. Every itinerary he builds comes from that knowledge.
When you enquire with Emnel, you speak to Nelson. He designs your itinerary, selects every lodge, books every flight, and is present throughout your trip. There is no account manager, no subcontracted guide, and no call centre. The person who plans your safari is the person responsible for it.

Emnel Adventures was founded in Arusha in 2016. The name carries weight: Emily, Nelson's youngest sister, and Nelson himself - family at the heart of everything this company is.
Nelson started Emnel with a belief that there was a better way to show Tanzania than through a reseller or fixed-package operator. He wanted guests to experience the country the way he knows it - from the inside, with someone who grew up in its shadow, reads its seasons, and understands that a great safari is built on specific knowledge, not generic itineraries.
Today, Nelson handles every safari personally - from the first message through the last day in the field. That has not changed. It will not.
