This is an extending version of the 3 days safari, offering 2 days in the Serengeti to have a glimpse of the famous plains and the wildebeest migration.
You would be expected to have completed your breakfast by 8 am, your driver will pick you up by then and the safari begins. It is two hours to Tarangire national Park, after the formalities you enter the gate and just right then the adventure begins. Tarangire has the highest population of Elephants in East Africa. You will be able to spot other animals like Zebras, giraffes, plenty of birds and lots of ancient baobab trees. Late afternoon you head out of the park gate to your accommodation.
After breakfast, the safari continues, today we drive past the ngorongoro conservation area and drive further heading north to Serengeti. So much to see en-route and upon arrival at the camp, you have the chance to take a quick shower, jump to the car for a late afternoon game drive.
It is recommended to have an early morning game drive, a wakeup call at 5 am will be followed by a short drive to the deep wilderness. It is in these morning hours that you are most likely to see the most adventure. Instances of cheetah hunting, rare breeds out before traffic gets them back to the woods. You will return to camp for breakfast then take off again. Serengeti is one of the richest national park in the world. There are so many species and all exposed right to your face. Take the advantage and enjoy the experience. Your guide will be on hand take you to the best sites.
After breakfast we do a final game drive before we head out of the Serengeti into the NCAA area. We arrive late afternoon and from then, you have the rest of the evening at your disposal. The camp guides are handy when one wants to walk around the area.
An early morning departure is required to beat the traffic. This is one of the world's famous national parks and there could be so many cars going in and out. The morning and afternoon is spend game driving in within the crater, resident lions around the area easily spotted, some even getting shades under the cars. Good spots for picnics, lots of hippos spotted at the pools. Late afternoon, you head out of the crater, drive to Karatu where we spend the night.
Your final day into the wilderness, Manyara is one of the best parks in Tanzania. It is said to be where the lions learnt to climb trees. Here it is very common to spot lions up the trees, never the less, Manyara is also known for its large number of tree species. You enjoy all these together with watching lots of herbivores grazing. You have the chance to visit the beautiful famous Lake where there are normally lots of flamingos. Late afternoon you are driven back to Arusha, the driver will drop you at your lodge. Our safari manager will be onsite to collect conduct a post trip de-brief.
