You would be expected to have completed your breakfast by 8 am, your driver will pick you up by then and the safari begins. It is two hours to Tarangire national Park, after the formalities you enter the gate and just right then the adventure begins. Tarangire has the highest population of Elephants in East Africa. You will be able to spot other animals like Zebras, giraffes, plenty of birds and lots of ancient baobab trees. Late afternoon you head out of the park gate to your accommodation.
An early morning departure is required to beat the traffic to this world's natural wonder caldera filled with animals. It is about 1 hour drive to the gate and after the formalities you enter into the conservation area. The place is somewhat cool, keep your maasai blankets close. The morning and afternoon is spend game driving within the crater, resident lions around the area easily spotted, some even getting shades under the cars. Good spots for picnics, lots of hippos spotted at the pools. Late afternoon, you head out of the crater, drive to Karatu where we spend the night.
Your final day into the wilderness, Manyara is one of the best parks in Tanzania. It is said to be where the lions learnt to climb trees. Here it is very common to spot lions up the trees, never the less, Manyara is also know for its large number of tree species. You enjoy all these together with watching lots of herbivores grazing. You have the chance to visit the beautiful famous Lake where there are normally lots of flamingoes. Late afternoon you are driven back to Arusha, the driver will drop you at your lodge. Our safari manager will be onsite to collect conduct a post trip de-brief.
