The safari kicks off with your arrival in Arusha, where you’ll unwind at Shamba Lodge. Highlights include game drives in Tarangire National Park, known for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. You’ll explore the world-renowned Serengeti, witnessing the diverse wildlife and potentially the Great Migration, one of nature’s most spectacular events. The journey concludes with an exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater, a unique ecosystem home to a vast array of wildlife, before returning to Arusha for a relaxing final night.

Upon your arrival in Arusha, a representative will greet you at the airport and transfer you to Shamba Lodge. Nestled in a serene setting, Shamba Lodge offers a peaceful retreat where you can unwind after your travels. In the evening, enjoy a detailed safari briefing, where your guide will share insights into the upcoming adventure. Dinner and overnight at Shamba Lodge.
After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers a rich wildlife experience. You’ll spend the day exploring the park on game drives, with opportunities to see lions, giraffes, zebras, and an array of bird species. Your guide will share fascinating facts about the park’s flora and fauna, making the experience both educational and thrilling. In the evening, you will settle into Karatu Tented Lodge, where you can relax and enjoy the hospitality under the African sky
On the third day, you will journey to the Serengeti, one of Africa’s most celebrated national parks. The drive is an adventure in itself, with game viewing along the way. The Sero area of Serengeti is known for its incredible wildlife viewing opportunities, including predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. You will check in at Golden Safari Tented Lodge, a comfortable base with excellent amenities and an authentic bush ambiance. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

The Serengeti offers dramatic landscapes and is a prime location for viewing the Great Migration, depending on the season. You will explore the vast plains, with breaks for meals and rest at Golden Safari Tented Lodge. The day offers countless photo opportunities and memorable wildlife interactions.
On day five, enjoy a final game drive in the Serengeti before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you travel, the landscape shifts from open savannah to the lush highlands of Ngorongoro. You’ll arrive at Embalakai Tented Lodge, where comfort meets adventure. The lodge offers stunning views and the perfect setting to unwind. In the evening, enjoy a cozy dinner and share stories of the day’s adventures around the campfire.
The morning starts early with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. This natural wonder boasts a rich diversity of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, buffalo, and numerous bird species. The unique geography of the crater creates an ecosystem unlike any other, and your guide will help you discover its hidden treasures. After a picnic lunch, you will make your way back to Arusha. Upon arrival, check in once again at Shamba Lodge, where you can relax and prepare for your journey home.
Depending on your flight schedule, you can spend your last morning exploring Arusha or enjoying the amenities at Shamba Lodge. When it’s time, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure. As your safari concludes, you’ll leave Tanzania with a camera full of incredible photos and memories to last a lifetime.
